Ilość zmian, jakie zaszły (a właściwie ciągle zachodzą) w ostatnich tygodniach przerosła chyba wszystko, co wydarzyło się w przeciągu wcześniejszych miesięcy. I jest mi z tym dobrze, a nawet bardzo dobrze. Dopiero teraz można poczuć, z dawana oczekiwany, powiew Wiatru Zmian, o którym śpiewali Scorpionsi. Ale o tym jeszcze napiszę i to chyba całkiem niedługo. Jednak dziś jest dzień, który skłania mnie do nieco głębszej refleksji na pewien gryzący od kilku miesięcy i wciąż niezamknięty temat. Dokładnie sześć lat temu w deszczowe, sobotnie popołudnie podejmowałem krok, który miał bardzo wiele zmienić w moim życiu (a właściwie naszym, bo od tego dnia już nic nie było moje - twoje, ale nasze). I zmieniło, w jakże typowo ironiczny dla życia sposób. Całkowicie nie tak jak to zaplanowałem. Życie w małżeństwie miało swoje dobre i złe strony, ale nie zamierzam teraz tego oceniać. Nie po tym wszystkim, co się wydarzyło. Teraz raczej skupiam się na tych dobrych chwilach. Na szczęście tak to już jest, że w pamięci pozostają tylko te dobre momenty, a o tych złych szybko się zapomina i jeszcze szybciej wybacza.
Z dniem dzisiejszym chciałem zamknąć ten rozdział i pogodzić się ze wszystkim, ale coś mi w tym przeszkadza. Jest jeszcze za wcześnie, żeby pogodzić się z tak wielką stratą. W głowie tli się jakaś natrętna i niespokojna myśli, która nie pozwala zapomnieć i nakazuje coś jeszcze zrobić. Pożegnać się w jakiś bardziej znaczący, symboliczny, a przede wszystkim, nieszablonowy i nieschematyczny sposób. Dokładnie tak, jaka była Aga. Dlatego muszę zrobić coś więcej (i wiem już co!), ale potrzebuję też więcej czasu. Dokładnie jednego roku, dodając do tej całej symboliki jeszcze jedną, już czwartą siódemkę, oby tym razem szczęśliwą. Dlatego dziś nie zamykam niczego, nie żegnam się jeszcze ostatecznie i za nic w świecie nie godzę się z takim "darem" losu. Nie zanim tego nie wykonam. Jak na ironie (którą to, nie wiem, już nie liczę) pasują mi tu słowa z piosenki Unforgiven II w wykonaniu Metallici: "I take this key/And I bury it in you/Because you're unforgiven, too". Ironię, bo jeżeli istniał jakikolwiek kawałek, o którym mogliśmy powiedzieć, że był naszą piosenką, to jest właśnie Unforgiven II.
Jednak, żeby upamiętnić dzisiejszą rocznicę postanowiłem zebrać i zaprezentować jeszcze kilka innych pamiątek muzycznych. Tych parę utworów, które zawsze będą mi się z Nią kojarzyć. Do części z nich wspomnienia sięgają nawet jedenastu lat (a to spory kawał czasu). Mam nadzieję, że poniższe utwory przywołają dobre skojarzenia nie tylko u mnie.
Odwiedzając ostatnio Polskę spędziłem łącznie kilkanaście godzin w podróży, z czego kilka pozbawiony jakiegokolwiek towarzystwa. W czasie, kiedy pozostaję sam i nie mam się do kogo odezwać trzeba zająć czymś głowę, co by za dużo nie rozmyślać o sprawach nieistotnych. Jak dla mnie istnieją dwa idealne sposoby na uprzyjemnienie sobie tego czasu. Jeden to założyć słuchawki i oddać się muzyce, a drugi to otworzyć książkę i oddać się lekturze. Tym razem stawiam na książkę Leszka Szczasnego "Świat na wyciągnięcie ręki". W przedziale pociągu IC relacji Poznań - Gdynia siedzi tylko jedna osoba i nie wydaje zbędnych odgłosów paszczowych. Tylko przez uchylone okno gwiżdże wiatr, warunki do czytania może i nie są idealne, ale też nie jest źle. Rozsiadam się wygodnie i zaczynam czytać. Trzy godziny mijają szybko (co raczej nie jest normalne dla PKP, ale wiem, że to zasługa lektury), a ja przesiadam się w Gdyni do SKM i kontynuuję podróż do Gdańska. Jednak tym razem jadę w zwykłym bezprzedziałowym wagonie, a dookoła siedzą w większości młodzi i "podchmieleni" lub bardzo zmęczeni ludzie (jest wpół do pierwszej w nocy). Siadam i od razu zabieram się za kontynuowanie książki. Ale tym razem nie potrafię się skupić na lekturze. Z różnych miejsc wagonu dobiegają mnie rozmowy. Nie są one jakoś specjalnie głośne, żadne krzyki czy awantury, ale zwykłe gadanie o głupotach, jakie zdarza się chyba każdemu po kilku piwach. Tylko, nie wiedzieć czemu, nie potrafię znieść tych rozmów. Tych pustych, nic nieznaczących słów, plotek dotyczących jakiś obcych ludzi czy czyichś problemów na uczelni. No i wciągająca książka przegrała ze słowną głupotą. No nic, dobrze, że mam słuchawki i mogę się od tego odciąć.
Dlaczego głośny świst wiatru, hałas pędzącego pociągu czy nawet głośna muzyka nie jest w stanie wybić z tropu i pozwala na spokojne czytanie, kiedy odgłosy rozmawiających ludzi (na kompletnie błahe tematy) jest tak męczący psychicznie? Zacząłem się zastanawiać i doszedłem do wniosku, że nie mogę już zdzierżyć "cywilizowanych" ludzi i ich "problemów". Tak jak męczy mnie życie w tym miejscu, tak samo męczący są ludzie i to, o czym rozmawiają. Dlaczego pozwoliliśmy się dać zamknąć w tak ciasnym i ograniczającym ruchy więzieniu? A w dodatku nie zdajemy sobie z tego sprawy. Narzuciliśmy sobie stertę ograniczeń i błahych problemów, które tak naprawdę nie są problemami. To my sami podnieśliśmy te nieistotne sprawy do rangi wielkich i życiowych przeszkód. Rzuciliśmy je sobie pod nogi, czy ktoś nam je podłożył - nieistotne. Ważne, że daliśmy się nabrać tej iluzji narysowanego na ziemi wilczego dołu, i zamiast iść śmiało przed siebie, przez życie, to kroczymy ostrożnie ciągle spoglądając pod nogi. Rozpalamy "nierealne ogniska", które mamią nas, swoim złudnym blaskiem. Podążamy przez noc za nimi, ale tak naprawdę one nie istnieją. Nigdy ich nie dogonimy, a jeśli nie przestaniemy gnać za ich fałszywym światłem, to obudzimy się pewnego dnia gdzieś pośrodku niczego, zagubieni i bez możliwości powrotu do domu i bliskich. Tak widzę znaczną większość problemów współczesnych ludzi.
Kłopot z zaliczeniem egzaminu to nie jest koniec świata (może wystarczy posiedzieć trochę w domu i pouczyć się zamiast szwendać nocą po imprezach, a później narzekać - wiem, że teraz moi znajomi z akademika nazwaliby mnie hipokrytą, ale nie każdy musi się uczyć, by później nie narzekać). Fakt, że ktoś nie skomentował twojego zdjęcia na Facebooku, nie świadczy o życiowej porażce. Zgubiony telefon, niezdany egzamin na prawo jazdy, brak dostępu do Internetu, oto "problemy" współczesnego świata. O problemie może mówić pięcioletnie dziecko, które jest nieuleczalnie chore albo pozbawiony środków do życia uchodźca wojenny, który przeszedł piekło okupacji. Ale właśnie jakoś ci, naprawdę, pokrzywdzeni ludzie nie narzekają tak na swoje życie jak ci, którzy mają wszystkiego pod dostatkiem. Dajemy sobie wmówić, że ciągle nam czegoś brakuje, że ciągle nam mało, zamiast cieszyć się z tego co mamy i dziękować, że nie jest gorzej. Przestańmy narzekać na swój los i zacznijmy cieszyć się życiem takim jakiem jest, bo mamy tylko jedno, a w dodatku bardzo krótkie i bardzo kruche. Jak powiedział Jacek Pałkiewicz: "życie daje każdemu tyle, ile sam ma odwagę sobie wziąć, a ja nie zamierzam zrezygnować z niczego, co mi się należy." Jako postscriptum krótka dygresja, przed którą nie mogę się powstrzymać. Pisząc dziś obudził się we mnie mały sentyment związany z płytą "Nierealne ogniska" grupy Farben Lehre. Jak dla mnie, nie mogło być innego miejsca numer jeden. To ten utwór skłonił mnie do zrobienia powyższej listy i od początku był dla mnie niekwestionowanym liderem. Co się zaś tyczy pozostałych piosenek, to kwestia ustalenia pozycji była bardzo ciężka i zmieniała się wielokrotnie. Co najmniej kilka z nich powinno zajmować miejsca ex aequo, no ale lista rządzi się swoimi prawami.
Wspólną cechą większości utworów nie jest, wbrew pozorom, morze samo w sobie, a chęć ucieczki przed czymś. W tekstach przeważa ton smutku i żalu po utracie kogoś lub czegoś ważnego, jeżeli nie najważniejszego w swoim życiu. A może nie jest to sama utrata, ale niemożność zdobycia tego czegoś lub spotkania tego kogoś. Oczywiście wszystko zależy od własnej interpretacji. Ale niezależnie od tego jaka jest przyczyna, przesłanie jest jasne - chęć ucieczki. Odpłynięcia, gdzieś daleko za morze, do innego świata, innej rzeczywistości. Pozostawić za sobą to, co już znamy, a o czym chcielibyśmy zapomnieć (co nie znaczy, że wymazać z pamięci, ale po porostu uwolnić się od tych wszystkich miejsc i rzeczy, które przynoszą skojarzenia i nie pozwalają zagoić się ranom). Morze od zawsze było symbolem czegoś nowego i nieznanego. Jeszcze zanim ludzie nauczyli się je pokonywać, to co było za horyzontem stanowiło wielką zagadkę. Później kiedy ludzie wypłynęli na szerokie wody, morze stało się synonimem odkrywania nieznanego, poznawania nowych światów i cywilizacji. A dziś kiedy mogłoby się wydawać, że okryliśmy już wszystko, te niegdysiejsze skojarzenia pozostały. Ponieważ nieważne ja wiele przeczytamy, jak dużo zobaczymy na zdjęciach to i tak nigdy nie będzie to samo, co ujrzenie tego na własne oczy i przeżycie na własnej skórze. Dlatego i dziś stajemy nad brzegiem morza, patrzymy w jego dal i zastanawiamy się co jest za jego horyzontem. Co możemy tam zastać, kogo spotkać i co przeżyć. I chyba dlatego temat "sail away" jest tak popularny we współczesnej muzyce. Wielu z nas nie czuje się dobrze w miejscu, w którym się obecnie znajduje, ma wrażenie, że do niego nie pasuje, do tych realiów czy społeczeństwa. Pragnie odpłynąć gdzieś w nieznane poszukując upragnionego szczęścia, spokoju czy czegokolwiek czego szuka.
Z drugiej strony są osoby, które w końcu przestały nieruchomo wpatrywać się w horyzont, spakowały plecak i wsiadły na pokład statku. Pozostawiając wszystko za sobą, by odnaleźć "to coś", czego zawsze brakowało w ich życiu. I nic ich nie powstrzyma zanim nie odnajdą tego, czego szukają. Trzeba ich zrozumieć i wesprzeć, bo nic innego zrobić się nie da.
A na koniec, dla rozluźnienia po tylu poważnych piosenkach i napisanych słowach, kawałek specjalny.
Dziś nadszedł czas na kolejną część listy utworów, których tytuł (no i przede wszystkim treść) zawiera słowa "sail away". Bez zbędnego przedłużania, oto druga dziesiątka.

Tak oto zakończyłem listę kolejnych dziesięciu utworów. Zdecydowanie lepiej trafiających do mnie pod względem muzycznym. Niektóre kawałki są naprawdę dobre, ale zabrakło w nich "tego czegoś", żeby zawędrować na wyższe pozycje.
Temat morza i mojego zafascynowania nim jeszcze kiedyś poruszę głębiej, lecz teraz, gdy moje plany z nim związane są dopiero w zalążku, przedstawię go z nieco innej perspektywy. Muzycznej perspektywy. Zainspirowany jednym z poniższych utworów wpadłem na pomysł wpisania w wyszukiwarce YouTube frazy: "sail away" i moim oczom ukazały się dziesiątki wyników. Zaskoczony ilością utworów zatytułowanych w ten sposób, zacząłem je przesłuchiwać, jeden po drugim. W taki oto sposób narodził się pomysł stworzenia mojej listy piosenek, których wspólna cecha to "sail away" w tytule. Na początku miała to być dziesiątka, ale w miarę zagłębiania się w wyniki wyszukiwania, znajdowałem kolejne ciekawe pozycje, których nie mogłem pominąć. I tak z dziesiątki zrobiła się trzydziestka. Istnieją też kawałki, które dotyczą tematu, ale moim zdaniem nie zasłużyły na klasyfikacje, nie zostały tu uwzględnione. A z pewnością jest ich jeszcze więcej, bo nie przejrzałem wszystkich wyników, ale nie chciałem też żeby ta lista urosła to niebotycznych rozmiarów. Mam nadzieję, że udało mi się chociaż odnaleźć te najistotniejsze utwory, które najbardziej oddają wybrane zagadnienie.
W swojej (podkreślę, że subiektywnej) ocenie kierowałem się dwoma wyznacznikami: moją preferencją muzyczną oraz własną interpretacją tekstu (który często miał przeważający wpływ na ocenę). Dlatego też, oprócz filmów z YT, przytaczam oryginalny tekst, bo w tej tematyce słowa mają ogromne znaczenie. Pozostawiam je także zamiast własnego komentarza, który wydaje się być w tym miejscu zbędny. Parafrazując jeden z moich kwietniowych postów - "sit and hear the music".
Ze względu na sporą ilość utworów, zamieszczenie całej listy w jednym poście nie wydaje się być dobrym pomysłem. Dlatego podzieliłem je na trzy osobne wpisy, które będą pojawiać się w kilkudniowych odstępach czasu. Dziś zaczynam od ostatniej dziesiątki.
